There might be something about the mouse gesture of clicking and dragging that is fundamentally awkward though; maybe touchscreens will alleviate that? But also, with text pages and lists of links, it's easier to keep track of what you've looked at and what you haven't.. it's too easy to get lost on a plane if you don't have a map.
